First, the Bus class came for our cruise ships, then they took over the airlines. Next, they will want rent-free rooms in your house in the gated communities.

I saw that group at the Birmingham Greyhound Bus Station this morning. Small wonder the offices next door had security to enter the building.

Yes, but I have been around enough to know with some certainty who I am looking at.

I used to not mind flying, back when it wasn't a complete hassle, where you could just walk into an airport and go to your gate. Now it's a complete pain in the arse, and I always get pulled by TSA for extra security screening. If I'm going anywhere within 12 hours drive I take the MINI.

No, they're ridiculous for you because you want to fly out of BHAM. I can fly to MCO from IAH for $117 r/t.
Well, I can drive 2.5 hours to Atlanta, get there 1.5 hours before takeoff and catch a 1.5 hour flight for $520+ $70 baggage fee. Or, I can drive 7.5 hours, just pay for gas and whatever food I want to stop and eat, save $500, and take about the same amount of time from the minute I walk out my door.
