How can I attain salvation for the sins of Catholic priests and false idol Jesus if you wont tell me who the real God is?

he sure was reckless with the laws they were supposed to follow.

There is only One.
Father, Son, or Holy Spirit, or do you believe in the trinity? Jesus said that if you have seen Him you have seen the Father.
John 1 begins with
quote:
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.
An then continues
quote:
16From His fullness we have all received grace upon grace. 17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.
How do you reconcile that?

He doesnt believe in anything but political ideology. Yet he's here to tell you that you are not practicing your false beliefs correctly.
You can thank him later.

Really? I missed that part.
Can you kindly back up your assertion with whatever Scripture by Chapter and Verse that is? (And please don't forget the Scriptural context.)
Thanks...
I'll wait. And wait.
I'm sure you'll find it all.

Damn, thanks for sharing that with me.
whoever was running that church is probably in hell now hearing repeats of Rihanna songs.
This is similar to how I am right now. I have issues with organized religion, but I think there are very beneficial aspects to each religion.
I guess it's also part of my problem with religion. What makes one religion the right one compared to others? If you listen to each religion and the people who practice, obviously they feel there religion is the one that's also something that's difficult for me.
I think it's also a beautiful thing. All these cultures around the world and I'd guess almost all of them have a religious aspect to them. To me, that's fascinating how that happened and I think they can all have things taken away from them that can be beneficial.
For me, in this moment of time, I'm becoming more spiritual, but more through meditation and trying to find peace with my past.

Following rules and regulations have never made me a better human being. It just makes me a more obedient human being. I prefer to make my own mistakes, learn from them and grow.

That's what Jesus said. I never claimed to be a follower of Jesus.
But it's interesting that you call out my hate, and yet want to deny the hatred of others on the board.

I have a very close acquaintance who left a specific church parish years ago because they allowed a gay woman to be a eucharistic minister. years later, that acquaintance would raise a gay child.
The Lord works in mysterious ways, I guess.

I always believed that god reaches man according to his understanding which is how you end up with religions, as many tries to systemize something that shouldn't be systemized.
Its unique and individual, my spiritual beliefs enhance my life, not limit it.
Legalistic people get legalism, independent thinkers develop their own beliefs based on texts and personal experience..
I have no clue about an afterlife and have my doubts, but we are energy, and I believe God is everything, and everything is God. We just choose materialism over spiritualism.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; Gen 1:26
- Whose image?
Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother and cling to his wife, and they will become one flesh. Gen 2:24
- A man and a woman, one? What mystery is God revealing here?
Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”
“I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”
Psalm 2:7-9
- who is this Son God decrees?

Thank God we don't have to abide by the Olde Testament anymore.
We can also worship other divine entities (or venerate them, or ask them to pray for us and to help us and intervene on our behalf) such as Jesus and Spritius Sanctum as long as we claim they are all part of the same one god, and we can also pray and venerate and ask for help from Mary and all the various saints of this or that as long as we don’t call them “gods”.

How else could so many billions of souls, over the span of thousands of years, be inspired to follow this path without that room to be inspired on a personal level?

The Cryptic Triptych?
That's a bunch of arcane Greek double-speak that Christians had to come up with to rationalize their heresy of not worshiping God.
The First Commandment is clear, and without need of Greek bullshite.
quote:
grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
I'm pretty sure Grace is God's gift.

the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.
I don't have to, I abide by the First Commandment.
How do you reconcile the First Commandment? ...or the Second? ...or the Fourth? How do you reconcile that Jesus was the son of Man?

Most churches I have been around just don't allow you to be on the board or a deacon if youre divorced or have some other "sin."

You should start a church. Then we can all watch in sadistic glee as the ATF firebombs it.

My youngest daughter and her husband went to seminary for two years after graduating college. They're starting a ministry, and I support them.
