Make it make sense.

Ok. The people of whatever state your hypo takes place in, via their elected representatives, made it so that abortion isn’t murder. That is why it’s not murder. Murder is what the law of whatever jurisdiction says it is.

It really is that simple.

Mainly because, as others have said, there is the blatant distinction between the mother choosing to abort the child, and someone else killing it without her consent or along with her.

Can you detail the arguments that were used to justify slavery that are substantively different than the arguments used to justify abortion of a 2nd or 3rd trimester unborn human being?

So the woman decides whether the child lives or dies, which means the child only has worth or legal standing if the woman decides that is the case. Some crazy shite I tell ya.

Correct. That is the policy of many places.

I disagree with that policy as much as you do. I just don’t see the merit in feigning confusion on how it’s reconciled by those who support it.

Yeah, reframing the discussion to suit your points won't help you.

That's fine, then men who want the child aborted shouldn't be legally required to provide for those children.....this has to at least make sense,

This is why you lose. Repeatedly.

Unfortunately going by history, that's how it goes. A disproportionate amount of children born in a timeframe of having unwanted children and not having them will always end in this result.

You can say what you will on a different level, but that's that.

I know I do actually, because it is the same. Dems in the 1850s are the same as Dems today.

If only “making sense” were the standard.

Unfortunately, no jurisdiction in the United States has made the decision to give fathers equal rights as mothers when it comes to unborn children.

No. The dead inside of a human being would use it as a way to make herself not look like a trash can.

Well, no.

No, it isn't.
