The one question nobody seems to answer about climate change is what will happen if the world heats up by 10 degrees in the next 100-500 years?
A couple things I can see happening.
People will move further north and away from the coasts. Cities won't be affected from the rise in ocean levels, we already figured out how to do that (see NOLA). Places that don't need air conditioning will probably need to have A/C. We will have fewer people die of freezing to death. Animals that thrive in cold climates will either move north or die while animals that thrive in hot climates with thrive. Hurricanes will get worse. We will have more rain which couple that with the rise in temperature may see an expansion in rain forests, and all vegetation. The increased levels of CO2 will also aid with the expansion of vegetation.
Am I missing something here? Doesn't seem all that bad.
