Well this isn't true. I assume Trump has more than one plausible motivation because he isn't dumb.. but he went from having his personal lawyer "meddling in an investigation" and collecting non-foreign policy info (to help his campaign) to asking a foreign leader to investigate the same topic and coordinate with his personal lawyer on the subject.

Are you okay with the president using his position to do opposition research? Until recently I was pretty sure the poliboard opposed that type of thing.

Not an accusation. It is clear the Obama admin used the government intelligent apparatus to spy on opposition. Obama asked Ukraine to investigate Manifort.
Obama weaponized many portion of the Fed and no, I’m not okay with it. He and his cronies should be in jail.
