Wait, y’all haven’t realized this yet?
Oh I've recognized the ant-Christian and anti-conservative bias of the show but just like Platoon, American Psycho, Wall Street, Scarface etc... where all the bad guys are metaphors and it ends up lending a sympathetic ear to "the bad guy" when they bitchslap the virtue signaling effort.

woof the denial is strong in this thread
I'm pretty surprised by it. And it concerns me that so many people can't recognize they are being made fun of. I'm a Trump supporter and I thought it was painfully obvious that they were making fun of Trump and his supporters.

You know that Homelander (the bad guy) is Trump, right?
Homelander is not at all based on, or similar to, Trump. In any way.

That character was written exactly that way long before Trump was president.

Dude. Seth "Nasty arse" Rogan is the executive producer and is buddys with Evan Goldberg. How do they not know?
You know it's going to be a hate fest on conservatism but it's unique that it's blatant unlike Marvel, the new Star Wars, and other SJW shite. I like it because it's a grossly over-stereotypical and I can take a punch. They do take smaller jabs at SJW's which you don't see anywhere else. This is where 90% of the memes come from. I have a suspicion that the final season will be a shitshow though.

That can be true as well as the show basing him on Trump. I mean the writers of the show publicly stated that it is Trump. Did you watch the latest season? Did you see the political rallies and MM's arguing with his daughters stepdaughter about not bringing her to the rallies and listening to him?
I mean go to YouTube and search homelander is Trump. You will not only find examples in the show but you will find the showrunners saying it, the actor who plays him insinuating it, and other videos like "Trumpists finally realize the boys mocks them" and "showrunners aren't sure Trump supporters realize homelander is evil"
They are mocking you.

The writers of the show would disagree
