Do you believe that Iranian Christians are on equal footing with Jews?

If you read the entire Holy Bible you’d know.

Israel is still protected today by His hand.

If today's Israel is protected by God's hand, then they don't need to be protected by America.

Reminder: Jesus scolded Peter for raising a sword to defend him.

How many billions will we save in the middle east without Iran’s influence and support of various terrorist groups?

This is a very good investment. Factor in the once real possibility of a 4 mile hike in the middle of where Manhattan used to be… it’s a no brainer financially.

What a bunch of boomer hysteria. How many Iranian backed terror attacks have occurred in the US?

Unfortunately, the ME contributes hugely to problems at home.

And its not just Israel.

Our past foreign policy has proped up all sorts of undesirables because they are "pro American" at the expense of alienating whole populations.

Tell me. How many enemies would we have in the region if it weren't for our strong alliance with Israel?

Once again - Jews (based on blood) are collectively God's chosen people.

No one, based on nationality, professed relgion, race (except for Jews), etc. have any special place; however, those individuals who profess with their mouth and believe in their heart that Jesus is the Christ will share in God's kingdom, which will include some of God's chosen people - Jews by blood. And, THEY are part of the 144k remnant spoken about in Revelation (in my opinion) which is 12,000 of each of the tribes of Israel (again...remnants of the Jewish people).

I don’t get that the Jews are God’s chosen people. I’m not saying it’s not true, I’m saying that I don’t understand why God would play favorites. Does everyone believe this? If so, why?

Jews (based on blood) are collectively God's chosen people.

God gave the Lord Israel as an inheritance. The Lord didn’t himself choose to be the ruler of the Israelites (whilst his brothers rule over the other 70 nations in the table of nations in Genesis), but his father, God, gave Israel to him.

The word used over and over again “chosen” in the Bible with regard to “chosen people” can just as easily and more accurately read as “assigned people”. The Hebrew word used is translated as chosen or assigned based on the context but the English word used by the translators sometimes is a result of their own biases and preconceived notions.

With Jesus now, the Lord being originally assigned Israel is irrelevant. Jesus is supposed to the Lord incarnate, and the Lord is prophesized to take over the entire world - all the inheritances of his brothers - per psalm 82. We know Jesus is (the) Lord (the same Lord of the burning bush) because it’s repeated ad nauseam in scripture. Something about all souls must confess that Jesus is (the) Lord.

So there’s no reason or need to support modern Israel, the descendants of the Pharisees which rejected Jesus. They rejected the simple concept of the Messiah - the earthly embodiment of the Lord - who was also the high priest (Melchizedek). It’s because they already had a competing high priesthood which rejected the concept of the Jewish kings after the second temple was built. Ever read the books of Samuel and Kings? Jewish Kings were bad news, and even the good ones were idolatrous and did evil. Some say the early Christians rejected those books of Samuel and Kings as a fake pseudo history written by corrupt second temple priests - the same priests Jesus called corrupt and told them that they did not know the scriptures.

This is racist. Jews have been scapegoated by most European countries, and removed multiple times, throughout history and need a home that will tolerate them: LINK

They also deserve to live peacefully with influence that far extends their borders.

The odd reality is that the prophecies are all misunderstood in the first place. We dont get some kind of blessing for supporting Israel. One only need look at the words of Jesus to confirm this: "Judge a tree by its fruits"
