Brown vs Board of education. 1954

It wasn't even enforced until the 1965 Civil Rights act passed by Congress and then enforced by Johnson.
Without Presidential enforcement public schools would still be segregated.

Um, it did require enforcement but it didn't take until the CRA- Eisenhower sent in the National Guard.

Do you guys realize a supermajority of voters oppose such madness?

You could say the same thing about efforts to repeal the ACA.

Take a civics class moron. This is a judge motivated by an ideology. He's misusing his authority and should be removed and disbarred.

The Judiciary deciding if the Executive is overstepping its authority isn't particularly controversial.

Because you disagree with him? I haven't read the judges opinion, if he even gave one in written form, but it's the correct conclusion. This type of action must come from Congress, not Trump. It also can't be ALL funding.

Oh look another idiot with the trump doesn't know details meme when every time he speaks on a subject he knows 3 times the detail Obama ever did

Seriously dude?

I think Trump should ignore it.

But seriously if you think Trump has a fricking Clue about our constitution or Government formed by that constitution then you are the idiot.
Furthermore, I think Obama was horrible.
I also am Sure he knew what the constitution said, meant, and all the nuances surrounding it. He was a Lawyer after all and he did hold for a short time a position as a Constitutional adjunct professor.
His main problem being a leftist, was he just didn't give a flying frick what the constitution said.

OK Judge ol' buddy ol' pal. You want to play rough do you?

8 US Code Section 1373 and 8 US Code Section 1324, start perp walking some mayors and councils, and judges too. The law applies to them also and is on the books. It is the Executive Branch's job to enforce the laws.

1373 says "A state or local entity or official may not prohibit or in any way restrict sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual."

1324 says "ANY person who, knowing that an alien has come to the U.S. in violation of the law conceals, harbors or shields from detection any alien in any place, including any building, SHALL be imprisoned not more than 5 years",

They are breaking the hell out of them both, lock them up. And keep them there.

The Trump DOJ, in defending this order, said it should stand because it doesn't really do anything and it's just Trump using his "bully pulpit" to signal a change in immigration enforcement. In other words. Their argument for the order is that it's meaningless and won't change anything so it should be just kinda ignored by the courts.

Not kidding

By the time Trump leaves office, the President of the United States will just be a figurehead with no power.

Sad that it's happening right before our eyes.
