This isn't about price competition.
well the post i was responding to certainly was
and you should be pretty familiar with that post- it was your own
quote:
All legal prostitutes will have the same overhead costs such as license fees, taxes, monthly medical tests, etc
maybe the law will not require that, and the increased risk from those women will justify their lower price
quote:
so they will have to charge a higher price for their service than woman who are not legal prostitutes but are desperate to make some fast easy money.
what's wrong with that, if a dude is willing to triple-wrap it to pay less?
quote:
Just because prostitution is made legal that won't mean there won't still be a black market especially since it is so easy for a woman to be a prostitute and it takes practically no financial investment other than the cost of a box of condoms and a motel room.
the size of the black market will probably be directly proportional to the amount of bullshite anti-competition regulation involved

Who cares? You pay for it either way.

Jesus Christ you might be the dumbest poster on this board and that is saying something. Everything you said is pretty much false and statistics back that up.
Do you really feel if prostitution is made legal that your daughter might become one? If so do you fear she will become a porn star since its already legal?

While brothels and prostitutes are subject to federal income tax and also pay local fees, there is no state income tax in Nevada and brothels are exempt from the state entertainment tax and do not pay any other state taxes. In 2005 brothel owners lobbied to be taxed in order to increase the legitimacy of the business, but the legislature declined.Brothels pay taxes to their respective counties. Lyon County receives approximately $400,000 to $500,000 per year from these taxes.
This might be the only industry ever to lobby for more taxes.

I don't have any children.
I don't like that any father's daughter might become one.

Do you like the fact that your daughter can now consider being a porn star as a legal job option where she can make quick easy bucks by having sex while being filmed?
