I never said no one said it. Did you even read my OP?
Who knows? It’s just some donor who likely leans pro-choice. The campaign staffers affirmed that they weren’t “going to the middle” on abortion and that’s what matters.

It was all ONE SINGLE DONOR that brought that up
So a major DeSantis booster tweeted it was so? That settles it! CASE CLOSED!
Again, it is so richly entertaining to see you Ronbots callout Trump’s fans as delusional spin-artists.

What Ronbots cried for a whole week about when Trump said this a month ago.

And here is another goalpost shift. It may have not been a paid “staffer” but whoever offered the comment about moving to the middle on abortion was offering talking points to the “donor class” about “campaign strategy.”
So you are accusing me of the very thing you are doing. Are you an alter of SFP?

Trump is not doing well here.

No he was talking about micro targeting in phone calls and talking points for pro-choice leaning people who “liked him more 6 months ago” when they considered him to be moderate.
The staffer says “I totally understand your point and how difficult it is to talk to a pro-choice voter”
And says “the governors principles will settle in the country”
They disavowed that point and said they don’t decide DeSantis’ principles.

And those comments about appealing to the donor class were made in a direct response to the speaker who said he was looking for “talking points” when discussing abortion. So however you categorize this speaker — as a campaign strategist, a campaign operative or a campaign facilitator, this speaker obviously was speaking toward how the campaign can better appeal to the pro-abortion Republican donor class.

More spin. The comments about donors not being able to determine DeSantis’ principles was directed at the speaker who asked for talking points when discussing abortion.
At about 37:00, the speaker who made the comment about DeSantis’ principles indeed seems to reinforce the comments by the “move-to-the-middle” speaker by saying “I’ll add too….” Yet at no point in that audio clip did anyone in that room disavow the other speaker’s claim about moderating talking points on abortion while “dialing for dollars” with the pro-abortion Republican donor class.
Yet rather than simply admit that this is how sausage is made and conceding that campaign strategy meetings with deep pocketed donors are full of double-speak and b.s., we get a multi-page thread from DeSantis fanboys denying what everyone hears in the audio clip. But keep spinning it boys — it is extremely entertaining!

And you’re still wrong.
It wasn’t any of those. It was a fellow donor; which I’ve explained multiple times and I’m backed up by people that actually attended.
You just contradicted yourself. So they tell the donors they’re not going to get to change DeSantis’ principles and another donor even says he’s thankful that DeSantis doesn’t cave to donor pressure but you think they’re stating they’re going to run a moderate pro-choice campaign? That’s some serious mental gymnastics.
Keep lying, Cult45. It’s all you have left.

Backed up by tweets from DeSantis’ money-men! Yet even if true, so freaking what?
Whatever the speaker’s exact role at that event, the speaker offers strategies for appealing to the pro-abortion Republican donor class. The speaker, if not some sort of figurehead in DeSantis’ fundraising operation, clearly has knowledge of that organization as it indeed sounds as if his comments were read from a script.

There is no contradiction in any of my comments above. Again, no one in that room disavows the “moving to the middle” argument offered by that speaker —the mental gymnastics being exercised here is solely by DeSantis fanboys such as yourself denying what was heard in that audio clip.

FWIW, I’ve never voted for Trump and I have no emotional investment in Trump’s 2024 campaign. Yet keep offering your spin while you denigrate Trump’s supporters as braindead cultists — it is extremely amusing!
Since we both are repeating ourselves at this point, you can have the last spin…er…word on this matter if you so choose.
