Because the DC Uniparty want him destroyed so badly. Trump has many warts. He was trying to run the US like a business. He wanted clear returns on investment with foreign powers for the given US aid.

Trump wanted the US energy independent and respected in the world community. I don't believe he cared as much that fellow politicians and elites were lining their pockets.

The turning point with Trump was how he was being labeled. He took it personally when they said he was a Russian spy, homophobe, racist, and a white supremacist. He is quite liberal historicly.

He feeds off the vitriol by his opponents and is sustained by the open affection of his followers at his rallies.

I think he wants to save as much of the country he grew up in, as possible. He knows he can't win but hopes enough Americans wake up to the truth.

The winners write history and can paint events as they please. Trump is now a living legend and in his mythos, I believe Trump knows that future Americans may find the hope and courage to truly make America great again.

He is realistic enough to know, it will not happen in his lifetime.

He was one of them and knows their secrets. He knows where the bodies are buried. He turned on them and they hate him for it. It’s one big party and you aren’t invited.

Underrated post. I'm accused of being a cultist because that is the only way they can rationalize people disagreeing with him. Same thing with blacks and 0bama - 0bama is perfect, so no criticism of him can be legitimate, and must be therefore the default reason: racism.

I don't feel the need to make the obligatory "Trump isn't perfect, but...", nor do I need to criticize him for clout. The dude got his share of fair criticism and 100-fold more of unfair criticism. I like Trump because I like his results. Most of the people criticizing his handling of the pandemic are far louder than they are knowledgeable or objective. I think he handled it pretty well, and I have more expertise in virology and epidemiology than 99.9% of the population, so I can feel more confident in my assessment than that of radio hosts and angry bubbas parroting the radio hosts. Not being cocky - I would defer to architects in matters of architecture, to chefs in culinary matters, and to Lakeboy7 in matters of anal lube.

The reality is, 99.9% of the drama around Trump is completely manufactured and enflamed by the left. You can't name one thing Trump has been accused of that Hillary and Biden havent both rolled around in their entire careers. The difference is how its covered, and the fact that the Trump "scandals" turned out to not be true while the dems got caught.

Positives:

Trump did some good things as president. He hates all the right people. He is 100 times better than Biden.

Negatives:

He will give Biden 4 more years. He is the only person who can make this happen. He is driving women and young adults into the arms of the progs. He is conservative in name only. His follower's love for him is a huge turn off for normal people.

Why are you so deeply invested in the comment of Trump politicking against Abrams and Kemp in 1 comment? Do you work for Kemp? It is obvious he isn't a fan of either of them.

Are you a fan of Stacey Abrams like Trump is? Only a left winger would agree with Trump's statement.

We can later expand the discussion of all things Trump but I think it’s important to get a general consensus on why Trump is so loathed and hated by many people who do business or who work in the Imperial City, the city we refer to as Washington DC.

They started to worry because he knows all about the DC swamp corruption. It was during the debates with Hillary when he said 'because you'd be in jail' when DC started freaking out. The establishment media, who is part of the DC swamp, tried every attempt to take Trump down for this reason.

He wanted to investigate where the money in Ukraine was going and was immediately impeached for it.

They hate him because he knows all of the corrupt and slimy shite they do, and they are scared he will expose them.

Trump is a classic personality cult

quote:

A cult of personality or a personality cult is a situation in which a public figure, usually a political leader, is deliberately presented to the people of a country as a great person who should be admired and loved. This is often done by using imagery, mass media, and propaganda to create an exaggerated and superhuman version of the leader's person

Its a classic case of a personality cult and objectively so..

Kemp could have said stop and let everyone see the election was not rigged. Every signature scrutinized by both sides and god and the media. True the vote is still fighting to see the ballots. Why can’t everyone inspect theses ballots if it was the fairest election ever. Where is our hanging Chad moment.

The CIA establishment showed how far the would go to get Trump. Putting out false flags is not beyond their reach. Only complete transparency will bring back faith in elections. 60% of Americans believe 2020 was shady.

All you have to do is look at the shifting tides on this board.

We have gone from BDR to Ron Desantis is an establishment cuck in months...because Trump's feelings got hurt

We have gone from hard core conservative to actually being left of center is good

All due to the personality of one man. Its an unwavering devotion, a classic personality cult.

That's exactly what Don is trying to create, not sure why it bothers his followers..

Thumping them on the forehead Roger. Old age has removed my tolerance for stupidity. Even if it falls on deaf ears or those too stupid to understand.

Eh, I have seen plenty from both sides and there are plenty of brainwashed followers on both the Ron and Don trains at this point...

I still like Trump for what he can potentially get done but I can still take issue with many of his ideas, especially those that are just left of center...

It isn't an all or none with most of the populace on the right at this point, just most of the blowhards here...
