Has anyone confirmed if this is really Lin Wood's account?

This is what I'm thinking.

Lin Wood’s latest - Telegram (Update pg 5)

The dumbest thing of the last two months is that enough Trump voters in Georgia actually listened to this loony nut job and stayed home so the globalist left could win the senate.

And that's after he did massive damage to the President's credibility in litigating election integrity issues.

frick Lin Wood. He's a gigantic piece of shite that needs to die in a fire.

Didn't they settle for $250MM?

They more likely got nuisance value from WaPo, likely 50 grand, to make the suit go away as opposed to anything near 250 million.

It would've cost WaPo more than 50 grand to litigate a suit they would win in Court.

A cost benefit decision and the path of least resistance if you will.

It's not as if there hasn't been a group of people talking about this video for over 2 years now.

These people cannot entertain the idea that they are wrong. Their ego won't let them. And each revelation we get only causes them to lash out because they're beginning to realize they are wrong.

This is what gets me, why didn't Trump campaign completely disavow him of they knew he was a complete whackjob? I think they did sort of half hass, maybe scared of getting in his cross hairs?

Look man I understand it now. You don't have to keep discussing it. I get it. I'm not trying to save face. I fully admit my confusion in the conversation. I still think you are acting like an arse about it. Take care bro.

When I divorced my wife, I wanted to try and convince everyone that she was crazy. My lawyer said it'll only make you look like a fool, arguing with a crazy person. Let her convince us herself in court. Turned out to be great advice.

The judge is fricking out of line.

Some more of the Bloomberg article:

quote:

Karsnitz noted at the time that a judge had found the Georgia election case to have “no basis in fact or law,” using language found in a Delaware ethics rule setting forth the minimum requirements for any legal action. Wood also “filed or caused” the filing of a false affidavit in that case, according to the Dec. 18 order to show cause.

The Wisconsin cases, meanwhile, “appear” to have involved “multiple deficiencies” and improprieties, including having been brought “on behalf of a person who had not authorized it” and having referenced a “fictitious” citation in a filing signed by Wood’s co-counsel, the judge said at the time.

In his Jan. 6 response, Wood stressed that none of those actions could form the basis for discipline in Delaware because they all took place in other states. He was also a party, not counsel, in one of the Wisconsin cases, the filing noted.

Karsnitz acknowledged Monday that those assertions were accurate. The question is not whether Wood violated the code of conduct but whether he’s “of sufficient character” to practice in Delaware, the judge said.

“The Georgia case was textbook frivolous litigation,” and one of the Wisconsin complaints “would not survive a law school civil procedure class,” he wrote.

Judges are tougher on counsel via pro hoc vice. I try a decent number of cases in states I am not licenced in and where judges will give me a couple of feet of rope in jurisdictions I am licensed in they rarely give me an inch when I am pro hoc vice.

Wood has been a bubble off for over a year now. Three of his former partners are suing him because he because unstable and said and did some crazy stuff. I said multiple times on the election board he was not someone to follow. The quality of his pleadings were mediocre at best and downright pathetic at worst. Even long term his track record in cases that were actually tried isn't very impressive.

Trump continued to retweet Lin a couple more times and that was a mistake. A very big one. Gives mixed signals as to his opinion of Lin.

Trump didn't endorse Lin's batshit craziness but he didn't disavow him until it was too late and the damage was done.

That's one of Trump's more regrettable habits. There's a fringe figure or fringe issue that is pretty crazy but not crazy enough for Trump to distance himself from the fringe figure/issue and he finally distances himself when it gets out of hand and turns into a disaster.

Trump likes to skate and brush against the line but never fully cross it.

He's mentally unhealthy. His mind doesn't give two shits about a career. He needs a mental health intervention.

I'm so on the fence with this guy. He was wrong about voters staying home in Georgia. But he's been right about a lot of other things.

Again, you presume he is wrong

If he is right, many folks are going to need interventions...

Are you really still going to be "Either he's a genius or he's completely crazy" Several months from now whenever Lin Wood comes up in the news?

Especially when he's proven that he has nothing and he's batshit crazy?

My point was just that even if Lin does have the evidence he claims he does. It doesn't matter because nobody will beleve him. Nobody that matters anyway. But I like your analogy. Nobody has to try and convince anybody Wood is crazy, he is doing such a good job by himself.
