I mean, did this actually happen or not? Seems more like it didn't, or were the handful of people posting pictures and videos somehow the ONLY people awake in the entire city?
Don't get me wrong, that opening ceremony was an abomination, but the whole "the church is the only building with power" thing makes it seem like a BS story.
Very religious family member sent me some of the Twitter posts, and my only thought was "you really believe this with no major media reporting it"?
But their response would surely be, yeah, but the media doesn't want you to know about this.
And neither do the millions of people there?
