feel like every other baw I know "listens to Ben Shapiro's podcast" now and I've not liked him since he quit Breitbart and supported Michelle Fields against Lewandowsky.
Same. Shapiro was as weak as Sir Winston.

I truly miss the Afreaux Pick mega pissing matches. It made opinion shows like Hannity and Lemon sniping seemas child’s play.

I hope Toothpick is alive and well, and I sure as hell would love to see his assessment of the past 10 years or so.

I mean before Trump was elected the biggest controversy on this message board was arguing for or against Catholicism and or Zionism

There was a strong Paulite coalition (myself included). I well and truly think one of the biggest political developments in the past decade is the divergence and dissolution of 'general' libertarian sentiment. They ended up in very, very different camps.

Paulite? But have you heard of shungite? Anyways, um... I bought a whole bunch of shungite rocks, do you know what shungite is? Anybody know what shungite is? No, not Suge Knight, I think he's locked up in prison. I'm talkin' shungite. Anyways, it's a two billion year-old like, rock stone that protects against frequencies and unwanted frequencies that may be traveling in the air. That's my story, I bought a whole bunch of stuff. Put 'em around the la casa. Little pyramids, stuff like that.

Paulician is already taken.

The fake libertarians and fake tea party members seem to fracture easily in real life just like they did on this website. What I found real interesting is how people would claim to be “Conservative” just for acceptance on this site.
I feel that the public at large has lost its stomach or way to hold onto a principle. And they are just willing to give in to the mob rightly or wrongly

I'm hesitant to call anyone fake - politics and convictions are malleable. All I know is that I went from ancap to something nebulous and nefarious - but still very much influenced by original ancap concepts.

He is now just looking for click’s and using TD.com as a toy and people are buying into it

I’m not calling a person a fake I’m calling what they claim to be as a fake. It is them using a party or movement to become accepted instead of relying on the principles and morals
I also reserve the right to be completely wrong. But I won’t edit any of this because if I’m wrong I deserve to be jackhammered for it
The only fake is SirWinston. He is a bad thespian seeking acceptance like a lonely whore

There have been some big changes at the Cato Institute and other Libertarian outlets in the last decade. Changes in personnel and policy focus that have resulted in less coherent advocacy on economic issues, and shifting emphasis on social issues that send people in different directions.
