Damn dude. I'm sorry to hear that.
The rain can be unbelievable out there. There was a monsoon related tragedy during my time there as well. Two birds collided in midair trying to fly us from one side of the base to another.
I couldn't believe they tried to fly in that, even before the accident. Hard to even describe how hard that rain can come down.

So they are overthrowing the deep state with set guidelines and rules to follow? We'll do what ever Biden says, but our master plan will get him in the end! Same BS talking points that have us where we are today.

Yup. Crazy profession. Had a CM CO vehicle flip in East Range a few months later. They were laying a smoke screen for us while we were conducting an infil attack (JRTC mission) and they fell into a gulch. Killed two young enlisted.
I had an interesting eighteen months as the medical platoon leader for 1-27.

Were you in 1-27 or 4-27 (my time)? Or were you in 2-27 (later)? Were you an 11 series? That is what I was when I first graduated from high school (a long, long time ago).
