So if Nick and Lin have settled for frick you money this early on and the consensus is Nick got $15-40 million so far, why not run the rest of the suits out to jury verdict and judgment? As we all know from the internet lawyers here, discovery is what they’re scared of. So why not expose the embarrassing revelations in discovery in a jury trial for all to see, especially if you’re already sitting on life-changing money from earlier settlements?
This is about exposing rotten media and he’s made his money . Why not smear some pie on some faces from here on out?
Surely we can all agree that would be a great plan going forward?

We can all agree that you and I are not privy to the settlement details.
Acting like your conjecture is fact is not valid at all, mr. trial lawyer.
I think he got a hell of a lot more than 50 grand. You don't agree.
Big fricking deal.

This is not a courtroom, weirdo.

Why not? We’re all guessing the results of a lawsuit.
You tell me what criteria should apply to judging the opinions expressed here regarding the resolution of said lawsuit.

Its all guesswork, you are the one fantasizing you're in a courtroom.
This is a message board.
It was a big lawsuit. It was settled for an undisclosed amount.
You and your friend act as if 50k is some fact you are privy to.
It is not.
And just like I'm no lawyer, you're also no 250 mill lawsuit litigator.

Taking this to court and winning doesn't guarantee he will get all the money he is suing for. He could also lose and the rest of the media would be given a blueprint on how to beat him.
I can't blame him for not risking it all. Let the kid secure his money and walk off into the sunset like he wants. He never asked for all this attention anyways.

You’re better alluding to 88 bona fides and dunking on cripples.
This is not your forte.

Big time trial lawyer, eh?

Laymen see the occasional crazy settlement amount or jury verdict, and form a belief that they are the norm.
They aren't, not outside the shithole that is Louisiana.
I've seen those Moris Bart commercials... He has gotten people hundreds of G's for getting a splinter in their finger..

Nope, his average is far below that.
I can sue you for 250 mil tomorrow morning for any reason I so choose, does not mean I will collect anything.

You must've had lots of 250 mill suits back when you were a big timer, rather than a backwater cattle rancher with a bum thumb.
How much were your settlements for in those cases? Surely you would share this info, since you claim that we are all conjecturing yet you somehow are not.....
But I have OFTEN worked cases in which a plaintiff alleged damages in the millions and accepted settlements of less than 5-figures.
Plaintiff lawyers embellish damages in the complaint/petition. It is the nature of the beast. Half a dozen lawyers have explained this notion, but you refuse to accept it. Sad.

We are all speculating.

Informed by the details of the settlement?
No. You aren't.
Weird that I have to remind you.
But its only cool if you speculate? Cowboy, esquire.
