I’m more concerned politicians are spending our money trying to take away my gun rights. If Lapierre is acting illegally I hope he gets shafted. If he is living high on the hog and it’s legal I hope he is replaced.

The NRA has always supported gun makers, not gun owners. I give them no money, and I don't care what they do with it.

It's not nearly important as the 2nd Amendment.

Liberals - "The NRA is too damned effective with its money. They control congress!!!!"
Also Liberals - "Hey, you shouldn't donate to the NRA because they don't use your money to do what you want them to do"

The NFL is a nonprofit. That moniker means literally nothing.
Fwiw they are not any longer.
Also it was a non-profit mostly because the teams are taxed.

According the public records retrieved by the WSJ, Wayne LaPierre, on at least one occasion, detoured the NRA private jet 500 miles from Dallas to D.C. so they could pick up his wife’s niece in Nebraska. His niece has a low-level position with the NRA.
The Journal also reports Mr. LaPierre has spent approx. $540,000 in travel and wardrobe expenses, and aborted a plan to use $6 million in NRA funds to buy a house.
I’m curious if NRA donors/members have concerns with these expenditures, or do you reconcile these as having a nexus to a business purpose?
I know there are strict guidelines for non-profit companies, which is probably why the Journal started digging around on this.

Any membership that’s not Life means persistent phone calls for more money. The calls generally start with, “Wayne wanted me to call today-yada, yada, bs

Proud gun owner. Not an NRA member.

I'm good, thank ya.
A page out of the libtard playbook, I'm standing side by side with people on my side no matter how bad they are.

Normally I’d be right there with you, but there’s a knife in your back brother. People need to recognize that it’s the NRA that has provided cover for almost every unconstitutional gun law we have.

It bothers me but I've been a life member for years so they aren't getting any money from me now. All of my current donations that would go to the NRA go to GOA and a couple of other gun groups. Probably time for LaPierre to go, but there are other issues, one of which is having too many board members.
Yeah, I agree with this.
