Y'all should be voting Higgins here as a strategic vote here.
If Angelle wins, he and his buddies with Bobby Jindal and his machine will suddenly start worming their way back into Louisiana politics again and Angelle is a snake that's run for every political office under the sun. He's everything you should hate in a career politician. If he wins, you will never be able to get him out of that seat as he and his buddies will just pay off whoever wants to challenge him. Higgins may be terrible as shite and is most likely a grifter himself but he has no money, no friends and no power broker allies and if he fricks it all up, he will be easy enough to remove in two years.

Dardenne is not someone who conservatives want as Governor considering that he's working with JBE to screw over this state with all the insane taxes. In the first few months in the spring, he actually cut all of his staffs salaries while keeping his at the same level and called it fiscal responsibility to the tax payer. Not to mention, the film tax credits are his baby that he helped Jindal push through and still wholeheartedly supports to this day.
He's about as conservative as I'm Donald Trump sitting in Trump tower typing this post right now.
He's RINO as shite and basically no better than Jindal or JBE.

And in two years we'll have this same type of thread where people will be calling for Higgins head because he is a populist sleazeball. The people of this state get what they deserve. Ellison was easily more qualified than these two.

Do you remember the Neil Riser and Vance McCallister race up in noter Louisiana?
It was basically the exact mirror copy of this race and Neil was the jindal backed crony running for a house seat and people hated him for that reason alone and he lost bigly to Vance who was a complete sleaze ball and sure enough he got caught making out with his staffers less than a year in DC and he couldn't get past the primary after that.
Ralph Abraham is the representative for that district now and he's a good man and a solid conservative.

Yeah, but sometimes in order to get that nice brand new bridge over the Mississippi, you have to merge into one single lane and cross over the old bridge until construction is done
