The Ukrainians have been fighting Moscow for 1000 years. They have longer much deeper hate than almost anyone. They backed the Nazis in WWII initially due to this. Stalin starved the UKes into the USSR. They have beef man...credible and long term beef.

Nobody is going to tolerate Russia going nuclear. I don't even know if Iran would, because the first thing Israel would do is nuke Tehran since they would have been given a vicarious green light.

Using tactical nukes assures their destruction and ultimate disarmament.
Russia could try to throw out their entire arsenal and end the world, I guess, but in terms of tactics, nukes only ensure their doom. Tactical nukes would gain them almost nothing strategically and then result in the world teaming up on them.

I disagree. I don't think nations who are not in the fight would jump in a nuclear fire. I also don't think they would expand all their tactical nukes at once and have some left over for whoever decided to jump on them. If it goes strategic, I don't think that's the end of the world. I do think it could be the end of being a power for Russia and whoever they are fighting.
China has over 2 billion people, India I think is close to 2 billion. Do you really think they will jump into the fire due to Russia using a low yield tactical nuke in Poland?

The R in BRICS stands for Russia and the C stands for China, the I stands for India. I don't think China and India are going to start a war with Russia if Russia finds itself in a hot war with tactical nukes against NATO.

It would be the most destabilizing international relations behavior since the German aggression that started WW2 in Europe. The world is a lot different than a century ago, and nobody wants to go all in with a rogue state like that. It would be too costly, economically.
Russia has devolved their economy and SOL specifically to be able to act like a rogue. China, India, etc. have not and could not afford the economic costs.
