But not inaccurate.
Hell, hardcore political fans have issues discussing the issues. I'm still waiting on a precise, operative definition of "globalism/globalist"...going on 8 years now.
Or, if you want another great example, count the number of times ignorants call Ron Destansis "Establishment".
Hell, just this weekend I had people who claim to be fighting Socialists promoting socialist policies (tariffs to redistribute wealth from productive to unproductive citizens so that government can choose economic winners and losers directly).

the usual formats are not debates.
candidate spews bs.
you need to break it down and address each element.
then you get candidate to address your reply.
irl theres no time for indepth on anything.

Debates are shows for political junkies. Who's gonna make a gaffe? Who's gonna get caught cheating? Who's gonna look good or bad on camera? It's all a show. We have a vegetable in the White House. That's all you need to know about the value of debates.

Loaded question, not deserving of an honest response.
Re debates...there should be no Moderator, and no censorship at all. None of that 'fact checker' bs. And it should be done just like the NCAA Championship series. Lower ranked teams fight it out and move up to get a shot at the top candidate.

A) Don’t need them anymore
They are traps. Primary candidates should never debate in a primary race, when they will be challenging an incumbent in the main election. Podcasts are the future of politicians getting their message out.
