The fire marshall only allows so many people into the venue. If the max capacity is 10,000 but there are 3,000 on the floor, that means only 7,000 of the seats can be filled up so there will be empty seats

Makes sense. It seems like it would be more dangerous to allow them to be crowded on the floor, though.

Those Hillary crowds were so sad. I can't imagine wtf her campaign thinking when only like 200 people would show up to her shite. Bernie and Trump were filling stadiums and Hillary had her events in high school gyms

It's 2017. There has never been more ways for a President to communicate with the people that doesn't involve spending millions to have a rally in front of a few thousand people.

Why doesn't this same rationale work for music concerts where there are seats on the floor, but they still sell every seat in the rest of the arena?
