historical comparison period are an awful idea almost all of the time. for every moon landing comparison or discovery of America, there's 10 hitlers.
in fact, if you're making a case...a good one does not require comparisons to something else.

I'd imagine there's a long line of PR professionals that say you should much, much clearer. Especially if the topic relates to Hitler and it is coming from a government spokesperson.

Hitler did gas his own people...he marched German Jewish person into the same gas chamber as the rest of the European Jewish people.
But hey spicer was wrong about most of his statement why not all of it.
