Are you gonna quote that, or make me click the link, which I really don’t care to do?

You're being really aggressive right now and I'm not feeling very comfortable. Reported.

Subtle sarcasm is subtle. Got it.

Hard to tell these days. Did you see the thread about the satirical feminist website that shut down because it was less crazy than actual feminists and no one was getting the satire?

Orleans I saw a ton of dealers and prostitutes, but few people who genuinely appeared to live on the street.

Is living under the over passes different than living on the street?

Same problem in Albuquerque. frickers are laid out in public parks and at most major intersections. Had to get a PO box because my mailbox kept getting broken into, shite always gets stolen, and I live in a "good" area. frick progressives.

When was it decided that this was "okay"? It wasn't deemed so generally even 15 years ago or so.

We've lost businesses here over the homeless and we spend an incredible amount of resources on them

And they keep coming.

So, I was listening to conservative talk radio this morning and they had a guy on who explained that this issue is actually tied to the massive tech boom economies prevalent in many of these cities. I was in both Seattle and Portland last year. I felt like the homeless were even worse in Seattle.

At any rate, how is this a shot against progressives? Their economies are too strong???

Wow this is interesting. My fiancee and I vacationed there last July and the amount of homeless there was ASTOUNDING. The beer festival we went for was downtown and we had to walk through homeless areas to get to it and it was insane. Some areas smelled worse than Bourbon St. in NOLA.

The only good thing I can say about their homeless is they minded their own business and I wasn't propositioned once for money. There was a constant police presence and I'll attest to the fact that it appeared as though the city was simply trying to contain everything rather than deter it.

A higher percent of dual parent households for starters.

Which could be attributed to comprehensive sex education?

So what you're saying is Portland is awesome, because liberals?

The same mindset that is prevalent in tech boom economies is the out-of-touch with reality mindset that suggests encouraging them to set up tent cities and feeding them is a good idea.
