That was appalling during the debate when she actually committed ground troops to Syria.

Had Clinton been elected, she would doubtless be deep in consultation with the Joint Chiefs about how soon could we do OIF 2 on Syria.

It occured to me that all the dire shite that I was positive Clinton wanted to do -- now I will (thankfully) never know if my prognostication was correct or not.

I'm sitting comfortably at zero in that category.

Vicariously using the service of others to lambast those who do what you can't or won't...and you're calling US sanctimonious?

The ship I was on for two years had about 1,200 sailors and 30 Marines. During the summers the midshipmen would come from the Naval Academy for their summer training. They had a little tiny strap of gold braid on their covers.

We would crack off the most perfect salutes possible. The sailors just ignored them completely. Of course we only did it to frick with them.

I'm a veteran. I served in the Army.

I don't give a damn if you thank me for my service or not. As such, frick off-piss boy. BTW, you didn't provide my freedom, I earned it.

I won't disagree with that.

You're right, I only know what you've shown, and I feel confident I'm spot on based on that.

OK. I'd guess you're wrong, but I won't guarantee it.
