I've lived in GA my entire life. Grew up in the hills of the NW part of the state before moving to Cobb Co., outside of Atlanta, just before the Olympics, and I have NEVER seen a KKK member, rally, protest, etc. in my 41 years.
Do they exist? I'm sure that they do, but it's important to realize that every group has lunatic fringe members. I can guarantee you this, however- there are more folks who support BLM, or Nation of Islam (and do so openly) than there are KKK, even in private.

I only have two things that I remember from when I was young ... this would have been mid-1980s.
- We were camping in East Texas (Burkeville Area) ... and riding 4-wheelers (heck, maybe it was a Honda 185s 3-wheeler) at night on dirt roads. I was probably 9 or so and riding with a teenage older friend of the family. Out of the darkness came a fully-robed Klansman. For some reason, the damn driver stopped. I was scared shitless. He looked at us both ... then walked back into the woods. I've never forgotten that.
- Was trying to cross the Evangeline Thru-way in Lafayette to get to the old Northgate Mall. An old bus rolled down the Thru-way ... painted white with KKK on the side of the old school bus.
That's all I can remember.

I could be wrong here but... Nothing about what he said seems to be referring to Trump or the election. That's his response to a tweet directed at him from an opponent's wife.
I disagree with him wholeheartedly, but I don't think he's talking about Trump there

Sherman comes from a humble background. His father was (maybe is) a garbage man.
I didn't like what Sherman did the other night ... I rarely like what Sherman does or says ... but, saying he needs to be castrated seems over the line to me.

Trump won because Richard Sherman took a cheap shot (dove straight at the kicker's knee on his plant leg) that could've easily caused serious injury, then he's upset because said kicker's wife made insensitive remark on Twitter about Sherman needing to be castrated.

There is an estimated 5,000 KKK members in the U.S. Huge problem...

1) When I saw it live ... looked to me like the kicker made a bigger deal out of it than it was. If he was so hurt ... how did he come back in a play later ... nail the kick that did not count due to delay of game (inexcusable)...and then shank the real one?
