that's apart of the reason I think that Palin should be dropped.
Although he is a more moderate Republican candidate from a primarily Democratic family, he would be INFINITELY better than Peltola.
At this point it's a war of attrition. I don't think Palin can get another 6K votes to pull within Peltola...unless she was to screw up this Fall session (which I highly doubt she will do anything in order to prevent this situation).

she probably has to convince the 11K or so folks that voted for Begich who decided to not rank Palin as 2nd or Peltola as 2nd, in order to win the election...because she's probably not winning over the other folks who voted for Peltola 2nd. Those folks are lost causes.
