Yea - she is the White House Press Secretary. The job doesn't change whether it's an R or a D behind the President's name. The job is to be vague, spin, and cast the administration in the best light possible.

Must be the first time the OP has ever seen a White House press secretary in action. The entire job description is basically "perform the duty of answering questions without answering questions so the President does not have to answer questions without answering questions."
