Both are awful types of people.
My support of life is not at all defending pedophile priests.
Your comment is out of place.

I just watched it myself, and religion dictating abortion legislation is a tired pro-choice argument. It really isn't about religion. Just because a lot of christians oppose it doesn't make it religously based.

The question brought up by the video is why are some peoples religous views and political views tied together when they shouldntbe.

I understand that in some scenarios. The video does mainly focus on abortion though. I'm against homosexuality, promiscuity, and plenty of other things that I don't believe should be illegal because they do not infringe on anyone else's rights.
My argument with Silverman is that abortion regulation and legislation is not tied to religion.

But it is maybe not to you in paticular but to the masses it is. As are many things. And in my opinion its about time someone called those people out for it.

Describe to me how religion has any tie to abortion besides the fact that many Christians oppose it. What about opposing abortion makes it based in religion?

Explain to me why so many people outside of the abortion clinics are talking about Jesus and telling me that I'm going to hell for murdering a baby. Tell me why the guy I forget his name that blew up those abortion clinics was a religous nut and member of the order a christian extremist group.

Nuts do stupid things in the name of religion. they're wrong.

Again, nuts do stupid things in the name of religion. The ones telling you you're going to hell for it are dumb. Some may talk about Jesus because they're Christians. They may be confused on what to say besides that.
But the legislation and regulation of it is based on science. No regulation exists outside of scientifically reasoned ones.

I don't know. Probably not a lot because you wouldn't identify with much of your constituency. And I believe that that's wrong and Silverman has a point on those other issues. But as for abortion, I believe she is wrong.

My take on the video was her focus on the tie between religion and abortion is off. With other things, she is right. I agree.

I feel that while she is talking about abortion her main point is that religion and politics shouldn't be tied at the hip which I agree with.

I feel like she is untalented and irrelevant. That's about it....I feel like the greeter at Walmart has more influence that her
