Setting aside arguments for and against the filibuster—
Our entire system was designed to make it difficult to create laws. Our constitution is drafted to make change slow and difficult. That’s a feature, not a bug, of the system. These same hurdles that slow us down in GOP government also protect us with a lib government.

Many people do not realize HOW MANY AGENCIES & HOW MANY LAWS that are NOT BACKED BY THE CONSTITUTION, PERIOD, END OF STORY!
There are many laws and agencies made up by certain administrations etc that can easily be REVERSED MAINLY DUE TO A VERY VERY FAVORABLE USSC.
There is going to be a MAJOR OVERHAUL of policies, laws etc… that are about to be dismantled with a favorable Supreme Court, they are awaiting the presentations so they can vote in favor of the good guys!

I disagree, the leaders of the time realized that it was overreach, which is exactly where we are now. Those that don’t remember previous errors are doomed to repeat them.
