Hey, what's the difference between College football, NFL, and WWE?
Serious question.

After the '19-'20 LSU Natty, watched 3 LSU 2020 games, 8 SNFs, AFC-NFC CGs, SuperBowl, and a very good TB-LA World Series. That's it.
Farmed out all handicapping to Kenny White, Vinny Magliulo, VSIN, and family still in the industry. Just glanced boxscores and checked account balances in the AM.
2017-2019, I listened to VSIN all day at work. But, during Ronafest, binged Pat Bet David, Robert Kiyosaki, Steven Crowder, Jeff Prather, Peter Schiff, RogueNews, X22 Report, Juan O Savin, Mother Angelica Classics, Father Goring & Father Schmidt,etc..
Tuned out, and into the Great Awakening, and into a further dive back into Faith. Was watching my country and planet take a big step further along towards the Second Coming & down into the Book of Revelation.
2020, a clear line of demarcation, far more so than the year 2000.
They took the joy out of Sports, as well as all other diversions, by design.

They pandered a little bit the first games of the season but I just turned the channel or muted it. I don’t watch espn except for games.

You still paid them to insult you. It's not that hard to understand. Mute them all you want, you're still paying them to do it, lol. Do you think they know you muted them? Nope. They're just busy spending your money and calling you an evil white devil.
I guess you just can't fix stupid.

I boycotted the Saints and White Sox last year. Never did like the NBA after it became overpaid thugs. Hockey became boring when they went to the shootout and added too many teams. I’ll still watch college football but that’s about it. Sure I’ll still gamble on sports, but as I’m older now in life, I can find better ways to spend my time than watching a game.

And there we have it, folks. He doesn't have any principles at all so long as he's having fun. A very typical liberal attitude.
If they switched and said Hispanics were all degenerate evil racists, would you still watch?
Rhetorical question, don't bother trying to answer.

Yea, lots of NBA. Probably the greatest collection of talent in NBA history.

Biteme I’m not liberal and my life doesn’t get controlled by politics. It was a much needed break from politics for those couple of hours.

I get the feeling that if it was your call, I wouldn't have that choice, but you do you. Your tone is the exact same that liberals take.

NFL - 28-3 cured me of being a fan.
Everyone else who took a knee I stopped following.

You get the wrong feeling.
It just makes no sense for people to pay to be insulted, then get online and bitch about it, when they're funding it.
If you're not white and therefore not worried about it at all, then that's also your choice. It just shows you have no principles.
That's the point. If you care more about sports and you're okay with putting up with the woke BS and being called evil, and then get online and complain about it, that's your choice. It just makes you a moron.

People not watching sports all because of political statements before games is the biggest snowflake move I've ever seen. Congrats to 90% of this board for being a snowflake. Grow up.

How is that being a snowflake? I gave up something I enjoyed occasionally on principle. That actually takes some strength of character, unlike people that keep paying for garbage.
I guess you'd call someone who gave up sodas to lose weight a snowflake, too?
It takes less character and more weakness to keep doing something you like to do even when it's bad for you.

So the ability to separate my political leanings with entertainment makes me a moron? Quite the leap, and similar to the way Democrats think of everything. Being the opposite side of a fricked up coin flip doesn't make you right. Life is full of nuance, grey area and compromise. Always has been, always will be. Not acknowledging that makes you just as bad as the all-or-nothing democrats.
I know which side I support, and I am also cognizant that nothing I do will sway anything one way or the other, so why deny myself of something I & my kids enjoy even in the face of bullshite? Call that what you will, but questioning someone's principles based on one choice regarding an aspect of a segment of the entertainment industry is wildly assumptive.
There are areas worthy of not compromising on. Constitutionally protected rights are where my line is drawn. Watching sports infringes on no one's rights. I don't condemn those who turn it off like you condemn those who don't. I just don't devote any energy to changing the way entertainment is distributed.
Hope you have a nice day, however. I don't think you're a moron even though I disagree with your stance on entertainment. Crazy, I know.

That's not what I said, so your question is not clear.
If you pay for it AND bitch about it, then yes. You're a moron. Which was my original statement.
And since you proceeded to take my statement half out of context, and then swing at your straw man, there's really nothing else that needs to be said about that part of your post.
I qualified my condemnation of people who don't turn it off. If you don't turn it off and you whine about it, you're a moron. If you don't care that the vast majority of cable outlets want you to believe that being white is evil, and watch it, then you simply don't really have any principles.
Two different things.

I used to have season football and basketball tickets for Wisconsin. Made every game.
Now I am down to just football and dont really even watch basketball much.
Packers I watch for big games and playoffs.
NBA as a kid was maybe my favorite. Lakers Celtics Bucks Pistons 80s Bulls 90s. Magic Bird Jordan Dr J etc. They were super heroes to me.
Now? I could not care less.
So currently it's down to....
All Badger Football games
Only BIG Packer games or Badger BB or Hockey games and playoffs
The Masters golf tourney every year
Big College Football Bowl games
(Rose Bowl and SEC B1G matchups)
NCAA March Madness like the general population (a handful of big ones)
Brewers playoff games (few)
That's it.
Almost no MLB. No NHL. No NBA.
