I haven’t seen anything where the LCR made that a big issue for them.
I just looked at their website. Maybe others here should before saying stupid things like they were rejected for no reason. Without hearing the rationale I don’t know if I would agree with their reason, but that hasn’t stopped anybody else.

Exactly my point. The LCRs advocates thjngs the GOP doesn’t. If there’s a small government fiscally conservative group that wants to outlaw guns, should the GOP let them set up a booth?

You mean like the Log Cabin Republicans?

I looked at several of their leanings and it's a mixed bag. Nothing about the 2nd Amendment. Some shady allies in Congress is the worst I could say of them. So why demonize them by using a red herring to say what if they don't favor the 2nd Amendment?
Get the votes. The transgender stuff gets marginalized when R's are in power, so why get bent out of shape over it? If I tell the LCR's that I'm pro LCR, but anti-transgenders in the military, are they going to tell me to piss off? Probably not.

Downvote ne if you want, but I couldn’t care less about someone’s sexual orientation.
We don’t stand for Muslims making laws about that. There’s no reason we should excuse Christianity doing the same. It pisses me off that we turn off a demographic that gentrifies, and for all their rhetoric are capitalist at heart.

frick off, nothing “moral about this, it’s just evangelicals fricking shite up like they always do. It doesn’t matter what two consenting adults do in their own bedroom, if they support trump let them in. This just gave ammo to the dems.

Homosexuality is definitely a moral issue. If you reject a biblical worldview then you have no basis for objective morality and anything and everything can be a moral issue or an amoral depending on the individual.

What consenting adults do in their bedroom is not a moral issue and you evangelicals are too stupid to realize this. The majority of the country doesn’t give a frick what gay people do because it’s nobodies fricking business. You have no right to tell someone what they can’t do regarding their sexual orientation, therefore it is not a moral issue.
Also, frick a biblical worldview in politics, it’s outdated and has no place in policy making. Separation of church and state.

No... everyone on here defending the Log Cabin Republicans are.
The TX repub party are keeping the wolves out of the henhouse, so to speak. Conservative values include opposition to same sex, homosexuality, and transgenderism. That’s why they’re called conservative.
It’s like if I started the “Population Control Republican Party” and all the members were required to flaunt abortion... and then started crying like a pansy bc the mainstream republicans, or ‘stupid evangelicals’ as y’all are saying, told me to take a hike when I tried to join their event.
Some of y’all are just a bunch of bleeding arse liberal snowflake millennials skyscreaming cuz somebody didn’t let you play in their sandbox. Screw yall, and grow up for Pete’s sake. Evangelicals and others who stand for truly conservative issues, ALL OF THEM, are the only freaking reason this republic has stood like a phoenix over the smoldering, shite-laced ashes of this world to begin with. It’s called HAVING PRINCIPLES... and not compromising to pacify fringe, immorality.

First off, you are an idiot.
Secondly, nobody is telling anybody what they can or can’t do in their bedroom.
Thirdly, it IS a moral issue bc the whole ‘morality’ schtick is a comparison of what the actions and lifestyle that is right and wrong... and if you read the Bible, it won’t take long for you to find where it says homosexuality and perversion of ones body is an abomination to God.... the whole Sodom and Gammorah thing is pretty hard to miss. So yeah, it IS a moral issue.

Even God gives man free will. Man is free to sin and do as he wishes. Nothing done between 2 consenting adults needs to be legislated.
I cannot believe it is 2020, and there are still people around that give a shite about this issue.

So what? The US has no designated religion, regardless what oaths and our currency says. You cannot force legislation onto people based on your religious beliefs. Why is this a hard concept?

Good for Texas. Conservatism has to draw some lines. Some people seem to confuse the words Conservatism and Corporatism. Whats next, a booth for the Muslim Brotherhood or Nation of Islam?
Besides if you look at who was working for #MayorCheat in Iowa, these guys are already behind him.

Which is found nowhere in the Constitution and was not even considered to be a matter of law until I believe 1947 when an ex-KKK member on the Supreme Court went looking for a way to deny government funding for Roman Catholic education.

Christians and traditionalists ARE the GOP. You're not going to win any elections with people who think like Mitt Romney showing up to vote. You'll be blown out like Walter Mondale.

That pisses me off. Someone being gay does not intrude on the rights of others. Republicans can understand that gun laws will not keep guns out of bad guys hands, but they can’t understand that laws will not keep 2 dudes from loving each other.
