So there is nothing of the worlds history or our history in the region that gives you caution in backing and supporting dictators in the ME?

None?

None at all?

Assad and Sadaam “reportedly” kill 100s to thousands. We kill tens to 100s of thousands and destroy entire cities to protect Syrians and Iraqis, and lose thousands of Americans, makes sense. Leave the dictators, get out

Time to arm the kurds with whatever they think they need, and turn our back to the middle east

Kurds have no heavy weapons. They have no aircraft. They have no SAMs to protect themselves. They deserve a fighting chance. Give it to them.

That would be highly irresponsible. Those weapons would end up changing hands and could very well hurt us in the end.

Kurds are the best allies we have in the Middle East, even more than Israel.

They are good people.

It’s a mystifying concept.

In the late 00s the Lancet estimated that as many as 900k had died because of the war.

Assad would win a popular election.

He’s popular among the Sunni middle class, who look down on their rural cousins. And the minority peoples of Syria believe he’s the only thing protecting them from the head choppers.

This would be like if we told Israel that the Palestinians or the Iranians were free to take over the Golan Heights. We are clearly on the wrong side here, supporting Turkey is supporting ISIS, one and the same.

This is fine, but ISIS is us. Don’t you find it suspicious that ISIS started after Obama’s “red line” was breached? How bout the fact a used plumber’s truck from Texas ended up in the ISIS arsenal with the decals still attached? Only government is that inefficient (shipping a used truck halfway around the world) and incompetent (leaving the decals on). How bout the bogus chemical attacks? How bout Israel treating ISIS fighters? Wake up

Imagine wanting us to keep our troops in the Middle East.

I can't remember a better foreign policy President than Trump.

The majority of the voting public don't know anything about what is happening in Syria and nor do they care.
