I was pretty specific as to which groups he has been in conflict with and over what, maybe you can provide some specifics as to where I was incorrect?
You might not agree with his policies, but the reality is he’s taken on more groups in his first couple months than any president I can recall.

They change daily. Of course I will occasionally agree with one, but it changes the next day.

His tactics do, he’s been pretty clear on what the strategy is:
-Reduce spending and corruption via DOGE.
-Use tariffs to negotiate better trade deals to onshore jobs, increase domestic output and reduce our trade deficits.
-end the war in Ukraine or remove us from further involvement there.
-force a conclusion to the Hamas/israel/iran war
-ensure hemispheric security (Greenland/Panama Canal/China involvement) while reducing our global military footprint
You seem focused on the how which for a deal guy like Trump is usually messy, I don’t care because all I’m interested in measuring is what the end results are as he wraps each initiative up and it’s too early to do any of that.

I can ask 10 of you what his objectives are, and I'll get 5 different answers.
One of his biggest issues is not being able to convey to people what his goals are. The entire business world is confused.

You’re a uniformed voter who doesn’t want it/cant understand it. Your tds prevents you from having any understanding.

For most folks, we can agree on this topic and that the handling of the Epstein file has not been a high point for the Trump administration to date.

It’s highly probable you can’t even vote at all

Spam Bondi will be a huge disappointment like Amy Barrett

Again, they are confused as to tactics, but they’re mostly upset because it’s impacting their bottom line.
They want cheap labor and he’s messing with that.
90% of business squawking over tariffs is labor costs from him trying to force manufacturers onshore when the BS is stripped away because their business models don’t work without Chinese or Mexican slave labor.
Construction, manufacturing, food processing, etc… they all want cheap controllable labor and if we keep pushing that way we’re going to give power to the Bernie bros and AOC because people are pissed at rapidly decreasing qualities of life.
We can either embrace the populist conservatism of MAGA to give people pathways to prosperity or the socialist messaging is going to win because the vision of American upward mobility and the American dream is being crushed for gen z and young millennials who can’t afford houses, are staying single and who have lived through the ridiculousness of DEI while getting crushed by student loan debt.
I legitimately believe we will face societal collapse and civil war when we run into the debt service wall if we don’t have a path to a better future lined up for the younger generations who are going to have to deal with the consequences of the failures of globalism.

The most ludicrous aspect of this entire affair is it was an unforced error. Why announce you are releasing the full files, then proceed to distribute previously released material, and then announce that the files — when released— will be redacted?
We are left with two options: Pam Bondi is either a tool or a fool. Whatever the case, it certainly isn’t a good look for the Trump administration.

As everyone should be.
You arent saving society. You need to look out for you and your family first.

The difference between us is likely that you still think the system status quo is sustainable. I don’t and can give you a dozen stats to explain why I believe that to be true.
If not me then it’s a near guarantee that my children will experience a debt default, economic depression and likely civil unrest if a major change in course with regard to domestic economic policy isn’t enacted immediately.
This is that, and I am more than willing to deal with short term chaos in the markets if it gives me a 60-75% chance of putting us back on a sustainable course longer term.
Whatever you think you’re doing to take care of your own by putting money into retirement savings won’t matter when Europe has already declared they’re open to “leveraging” retirement savings to go to government projects.
If they’ll do that today pre crash, I guarantee you when the wall arrives AOC and her broke, single and godless voting base will laugh as they “tax” whatever you have put away.
You don’t have to like Trump, but based on everything I’m seeing with regard to domestic politics your choices are to kick the can down the road with the GOPe for a few years until it crashes, watch it all crash immediately along with your rights as we embrace socialism or hope Trump can take things back to a 2000 era balanced economy with conservative populism.

Only if you ignore every post Ive made on this board.

In a surprising turn of events I don’t track your posts.
If you believe we are facing a default and still oppose the Trump approach to onshoring id be interested to hear your alternative proposal as long as you can stay to specifics.

When you post things like this however you make it impossible to have a serious conversation.
As far as people believing it Trump was very clear as to what he was going to do strategically and he won in a landslide, so obviously many people share his and roughly speaking my views or he wouldn’t have won decisively.
You seem very emotionally driven on this so I’m done trying to explain it to you. You asked what he was doing, it’s been explained repeatedly and you have no clear and substantive rebuttal only anger so I wish you a good Saturday.

Then you made a very uninformed accusation.
