They demanded that the properties tenants reflect the racial demographics of the surrounding area. Since there weren't enough minorities, they lost and had to do the whole "equity" song and dance.
The worst part, when they did make it equitable, they were sued again because they limited the amount of rooms minorities could have to make sure whites were also represented in an equitable fashion AND WERE SUED AGAIN!
So, basically, if your area is 25% black you have to have ~25% black tenants. If you already have 25% black tenants and have a few well qualified black families wanting to move in, you can't tell them no, even if letting them in brings the white percentage below the community average.
Progressives like yourself are cancer. You better be building a utopia, because it America turns into Venezuela people who pushed this shite are going to have targets on their backs.

To go back to our bone we're currently picking, Jorts, I would actually like to see the tweet you reference as "removing all doubt." Not because it will change anything with regard to my point (as I laid out in my previous post), but because, like Wild T. did earlier, it's important to represent with accuracy when the onus of proof is upon you (as it is in this thread).

He would have Black employees ordered off the floor when he showed up to his casinos

No. Hence why I don't think he is racist. But he did single them out when he hasn't singled out others with the same line of attack. Has he made general comments telling people who disagree with him to leave? Probably. Most likely. But I can't think of another instance where he singled out non-foreign-origin political opponents with the same line.

That's an awful lot of words to say, "no".
To be clear, I don't really care if he is or he isn't. There have been a lot of people who were racist, but still did great things, and there have been a lot of people who weren't racist that did bad things.
I'm not a member of the 'cancel culture' where people are dismissed outright for being outed as racist. I suspect you might be, however. But that's just my personal opinion.

Couple of things here:
1.) Again, no one in particular was singled out
2.) You said "non-foreign political opponents," which implies that the legislative members to which you refer are not American. A flashpoint of the fracas was people pointing out (quite needlessly) that those minorities they referred to are Americans.
