It is incredible how bad both campaigns are being run, like they both are trying to not get elected.
Both are trying to curry favor with voters who are already entrenched as to who they are going to vote for.
Neither seems interested in the independent voters. Strange.

I wish I could convince my 84-year-old mother to vote for Trump, but at this point I think it is fruitless to do so. The irony of it all is that back in '64 she rode around in her brand new Ford Galaxy 500 with a big fat "GOLDWATER IN 64" bumper sticker proudly adorning the back bumper. In '76 she voted for Jimmy Carter, and it had more to do with her fondness for the women in JC's life than anything else, and she has gotten more and more liberal as the years go by. can't even talk politics with her now.
