They’re on board and helping as they can.

that’s rich coming from you, Rog.

But as the hegemon, it’s totally within our self-interest to make sure an aspiring hegemon doesn’t launch wars of aggression on 2nd-world countries who could very easily fall within our sphere of influence. That’s realpolitik to a T.

I understand why a guy who ran to Alaska to escape his failures here on the mainland wouldn’t understand that, but for the folks who play chess and not checkers on the larger map, it makes total logical sense.

Imagine the outrage here if Russian supplied munitions were being used to kill U.S. citizens along the border with Mexico.

China declares the US/Mexico Border a human rights disaster and decides to provide military aid to immigrants....

The other wayward son chimes in

But I reckon Ukraine could lay down their arms and refuse to fight if they wanted to.

But as long as they’re willing to spill Ukrainian blood to defend Ukrainian soil, why should we not provide materiel?

Lend-lease is almost a founding principle of this country given the French and the Marquis de Lafayette.

No it isn't, which further proves you to be a disenguous douchebag at best and an absolute liar at worst. Realpolitik assumes that all state actors approach foreign policy from a rational perspective. Your neoconservative ramblings assume that Putin and whatever enemy the MSM tells you to fear are irreversibly evil and incapable of logical thought and action. Therefore, you are incapable of even conceiving that actions of the US and NATO could result in consequences that are the direct result of the interventionist foreign policy you worship.

but us MAGA dudes are totally not Putin’s puppet, bro. He can invade whomever he wants and we can’t help or else we’ll be perpetuating suffering.

Yeah cause Putin hasnt been warming against nato's move into Ukraine way before the maga movement came into play. Or that they did the same thing under Obama and took Crimea and people like you probably didn't care.

You lefties really need new schtick.

Or, call on their actual neighbors to help. Nations that have 100x the actual reason to financially support Ukraine.

But that would lead to lesser US influence in the area, neocons cannot handle that..

I bet Trump could get a cease fire within 72 hours after being sworn into office and a peace deal within 45 days.

In Louisiana? lolol..no one fails in Louisiana.. Its built around dysfunction.

Of course simpletons would view a dysfunctional shithole with such reverence like you do..
I could sleep through my days there and be successful. The only challenges are avoiding carjackers.

I always get a little chuckle from people who never served talking about what the military does and doesn't do.

Do you have an actual opinion on the subject?

All the realists and pragmatists are gone. Even psychopaths like Henry Kissinger and former neocons like Jeffrey Sachs are horrified at the current situation.

Boosiebadazz claims to be a criminal defense lawyer and yet, at every turn, supports the actions of the very leviathan that results in his clients' legal problems. Imagine paying this guy to represent you when your adversarial counterpart is an institution he worships and reveres.

My opinion is it isn't worth arguing with someone who believes the world is disconnected via continents. Let Europe handle it may be the dumbest argument around.

I understand why you’re continuously wrong and frustrated. It’s because you have your foundational facts wrong. I’ve never practiced an ounce of criminal law in my life.

What did I say that was untrue?

He’s not a government official. Does he have substantive conversations with Ukrainian or Russian officials? Is he a scholar on Ukraine-Russian relations? Is he going to be held accountable for the war not being over overnight?

I guess I could have been more accurate and said “YouTube vlogger” since he’s no longer on TV
