If you are in Louisiana, LDH absolutely has a database. Its how they maintain the Covid status on the LA Wallet app.
While true, most in LA don't use the wallet app. Many do not have an appropriate smart phone/data plan (I realize that is a dwindling number, but it's still "many"). A few may legitimately try to enter a restricted space, with the app, phone and plan, but have a dead battery. Some might have also received the vax in a different state for one reason or another.
And let's not forget that an ID is not required to get the vax, and that even if it is shown, data entry errors aren't exactly unheard of. I had a nephew whose first driver's license/permit had his birthday wrong (month and date reversed), and this was in the last few years. He had it fixed when he went back after drivers' ed, but if he hadn't said something, it would have remained incorrect.
The point being that the paper version will always be allowed, and the reality is that no one will be cross checking it with some database, and even in the extremely odd case that they would, it can be explained away in a number of legitimate (or illegitimate) ways.
Logistically, these "mandates" are useless virtue signaling that can't be enforced in any meaningful way.

Exactly. The left switches their view on what businesses can do or should be allowed to do based on whether they agree with what’s going on. They just want them under their thumb

The reality of this is that you only support this position because you happen to agree with it......
haha can tell you dont know me, because i said mutiple times i dont support companies doing a mandate as i think its dumb business.

Oh, I do. However, I also support a business owner's right to refuse service for whatever reason they see fit, hire or fire for whatever reason they see fit, transact in whatever currency they see fit, etc, etc, etc, etc. Now, either we can let business owners OWN their business or we cannot.
this we can 100% agree on
FTR I just dont want more government intrusion on personal property rights. Im a libertarian and hold PPR as the holy grail and the only thing that matters. Sorry if i was confusing on that.

Did you raise the same kind of concerns on other vaccines? Are your kids vaccinated?
I've never been asked by an employer to provide any vaccination records. I don't work in healthcare or with children, I know those employers do require proof of certain vaccinations. But outside of those two fields, which other private employers routinely ask for shot records?
Maybe it's common, I've just never run across it until now.

No one thought it through. I think that’s the answer.
