Angelle is first for Angelle, secondly a democrat, then a RINO, and lastly a conservative

Don't forget, Angelle spent much of his career as an appointee, not even in elected office, raking in six figure salaries.

Exactly
I really hope he pulls a Hillary here
Go Higgins! And Kennedy!

I like the fact that Angelle wants to save the Boudreaux and Thibodeaux jokes.
It's very noble of him. High minded.

I wish someone would post the invitation printed during the governors run-off last year. It was from "Friends of Scott Angelle" requesting your presence at a fundraiser for John Bel Edwards at $5000 a pop. Go Higgins!

Higgins. Can't stand Angelle!

So much for your theory that Angelle would be getting democrats and enough republicans to win....
quote:
In the Congressional races, the number of voters who stated they are definitely voting for one or the other chose Higgins at 41 percent and Angelle at 33 percent. Including the so-called "lean" voters, Higgins' percentage increases to 49.9 percent compared to Angelle's 42 percent.
Trafalgar was one of the most accurate, if not the most accurate poll this year.
Either Higgins implodes somehow or he's going to Congress in January and Angelle will be sucking on shite careers for the rest of his life and the Jindal machine getting shite for their investment in him.

Not many Republicans I dislike more than Angelle.

I stand by my theory about democrats on the streets I been talking to. Angelle has to keep it as close as he can with Rep voters and hope democrats save him on Election Day. You want to bet the margins are closer than that poll?
Posted on 11/21/16 at 2:19 am to Sentrius
I know you hate Angelle as many of us do, but he still has a strong organizations and money.

Hard to argue with data I Just posted over anecdotal evidence.

A runoff election in December that's a single party ballot in one of the most conservative districts in the state is not a gimme to bring out democrats when one of them clearly has no enthusiasm and momentum going on and the other one is running to frick the establishment up and clearly had a big enough surge to finish 3 points behind the frontrunner.
Angelle only finished 3 points ahead of the closest republican in the first round. That is absolutely pathetic for a frontrunner and signals real anger and distrust towards him.

Not comfortable picking a winner until I see more data.
But Angelle has all the makings of another Neil Riser losing to Vance.

The election two weeks ago proved just how little that mattered when the candidate is hated and distrusted.
Those can't make up for voter enthusiasm and goodwill. Angelle's only bet is to go completely scorched earth on Higgins as much as he possibly can and that seems like an area Higgins has done really well in.

I must admit, JBE has blown all republican criticisms out of the water and has done a fine job so far as Governor. He absolutely deserves another 4 years, or longer, as our Governor.

Angelle is the Hillary Clinton of Louisiana politics. Plenty of money, short on integrity.

A fine job? If raising taxes by 2 billion dollars while gutting higher education is a fine job, then yes.
Sorry, JBE has been exposed as nothing but an empty suit small town trial lawyer.

Your opinion of Trey Gowdy made me question your opinion. This statement tells me you're lib.

I cannot make myself vote for Clay Higgins. He would set back America's opinion of Louisiana 50 years. He's done nothing but make funny Crime Stoppers videos and wear bedazzled jeans.
I voted Ellison in the first round. I'll probably just stay home for the runoff.
