If you’re doubting Sara Carter’s sources then you’re just terribly uninformed. Not flaming at all with this post, her sources have been proven to be rock solid time and time again

EXCEPT that these reporters usually use the same sources over and over and quite naturally if one reporter tends to be shown to be right time after time when using anonymous sources while another is wrong maybe 50% of the time. Then we can surmise that either A) the first person's anonymous sources are more accurate or B) the first person does their due diligence for other sources before reporting or C) Both A and B are true.
CNN, for example, has been a joke on this over the last 15 or so months. They get it wrong more than they get it right when they have "anonymous sources"

Unnamed sources are acceptable when the reporter hasn't been wrong once in her reporting. For well over a year.
Has not been wrong. One time. Broke McCabe over a year ago. Broke IG before it was public.
Name another news source that uses unnamed sources that has been 100% accurate.

If that’s true, I’d tend to give a story based on unnamed sources by such a journalist some weight. But I’d still take it with a grain of salt.
