If ISIS ever gets their hands on a nuclear bomb, they will NOT hesitate to use it against us or one of our allies.

We MUST stop them before they get one and we must do it soon.

I predict that if we do not conduct a major all out assault against ISIS before the end of 2015 then we will regret it.

Is the Syrian military even fighting these guys anymore? Or is it just mainly the Kurds in Iraq?

Have they attacked the US?

I consider ISIS kidnapping then beheading an American citizen an attack on the US.

So you want to kill a lot of civilians in the ME...many of whom have been subjugated by ISIS? This isn't a war with a nation state with a supporting population. Your idea would very likely though rally the people of the ME to ISIS.

This line of thinking, too scared of hurting feelings or making people not like us, is why we're in the mess we're in.

All 44 of Barksdale's B-52's each loaded with 140 500lb bombs. Unleashing a carpet bombing that will send them straight to hell.

The reason we're in the mess we're in is idiots like you that think we can impose our will around the world without consequence, that think invading Iraq was a good idea, that think everything can be analogized to WWII. Turn it to glass! Firebomb! Rahrahrah! Mindless.

I disagree. The deliberate and indiscriminate killing of civilians is a completely legitimate tactic in war.

I'm critiquing the point of view that condemns terrorists for indiscriminately killing civilians while calling on the U.S. to do the same thing.

Sanctions? Bombs? Boots on the Ground?
I'm sure the U.S. government will try all three of these.

There is plenty we can do to eliminate ISIS

Empty out our prisons and drop them over there with weapons

Go out to the apache reservation and offer them half of Arizona if they will go over there and handle it.

Drop bombs on every city over there

At some point they will say let me up I have had enough

WTF are you talking about?

ISIS is going to take over the US if we don't intervene in a religious/ethnic civil war in the ME?

You remind me of that british guy, you know the one. He tried to appease hitler and what did it get us? You cannot ignore evil.

That would be Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain.
