Ok. Say the Dems agree to deport all muslims. (We'd likely have to amend statutes and the Constitution, but say we do that.) What would you give in return

Strawman. no one is asking you to deport all Muslims or anyone else.

Republicans don’t want to deport all Muslims. Let’s say Repubs agree to let Dems kill even more brown babies at Planned Parenthood using federal funds, what would you give up in return?

So full funding for Planned Parenthood as a trading point.

Say the Dems agree to restrictions on immigration from predominately Muslim countries with a history of sponsoring terrorism in exchange for that. Would you do that deal?

Thank you, General Grant.

That's an answer.

So you want a permanent concession while giving up on a temporary issue

This whole thread is strange. You started off with a deal that Republicans would already make if offered it right now. It's the liberals who wouldn't make it

Now you're talkin about the fact that liberals would happily bring in more Muslims while simultaneously talking about wanting free reign on abortion.

I'm not quite sure how liberals reconcile their desire to bring in more Muslims to their communities when bringing in tens of thousands of Pat Robertson's would make them shite their pants.

Next to the average Muslim Pat Robertson is Nancy Pelosi

Alright, and I am really not fricking with you.

What does the Christian right want that would make it feel less persecuted.

Let me add that I ABSOLUTELY understand why Christians feel persecuted, and I am not doubting that there is some basis for it.

How could we make a deal to make that better?

No, you can’t practice eugenics no matter how bad you want to do so.

As You noted Dems want to kill more brown babies and let terrorist Muslims kill unarmed Americans at a greater rate than currently. You can’t be bargained with.

Nah. I'm just spitballing.

I'm just trying to figure out whether there is some room for compromise in this country or whether I should oil up the guns, stockpile the MREs, and get ready for violent revolution.

I'm being serious. I really want to know if there would be any chance of working some of this out.

Start valuing Freedom. It's really that simple

Unfortunately the left values their idea of equality and identity politics over freedom

Ok. Flip it. Suppose the dems abandon Planned Parenthood and renounce it completely. What would you give up to get that?

If the Dems are willingly trying to give me something I know it's worthless so I pass on it.

Dude. We just elected the first president to ever enter office already pro-gay marriage. A man who hasn't been ideologically socially conservative in his entire life. And we did so over a couple of other primary candidates who were definitively from the old social conservative mold

And to watch the Democrat reaction you'd think we elected Hitler's mentor. Look in your own backyard man

A middle ground with the party of kooks who cannot stand losing elections?

Like the peasants finding a middle ground with Stalin

I feel like you're stuck in 1980. If the abortion issue was a primary sticking point for conservatives Trump wouldn't have won the primaries. Sure he talked to the talk but let's face it his Bona fides on it aren't exactly Ted Cruz level

At this point nothing. The left is SOOOOOO far left, IMO, there's no turning back.

I'm talking about anything. Individual freedom. Learn to love it. I don't know if you realize this but that's the primary sticking point. The left doesn't love it

I am. I honestly don't think the gays are worried about Trump as an individual. I think they are worried that Trump would not pushback against his party on gay rights.
