Of course there was support for the nationalism Germany was displaying, but that was an absolutely tiny minority.

Did Biden think he was on the stage with Neville Chamberlain?

At no point did the US act all “Buddy Buddy” with Nazi Germany and Hitler in the 30s, we were completely isolationist as a country after WW1.
