I guess. I don't know what that gets you.

'm guessing you can't even name anything "corrupt" Blago did besides "trying to sell Obama's Senate seat."

I was never convinced the phone tap actually provided evidence of a crime, money was never mentioned he simply said he needed “something “in exchange for appointing someone to the seat, It could just as be interpreted it to mean a political favor, which is not illegal.

You missed the correlation. I doubt the Rape case was prosecuted federally.

He didn't pardon him.

He just commuted the sentence because 8 years in prison for non violent crimes in which there was no money lost is more than enough.

14 years in prison was ridiculous and there's no social utility or value in keeping a guy like that in a cage for that long.

Now, how about his pardon on the lady who did $205 million of Medicare fraud?

Once you do Obama's pardons, all 1900 then we'll do this (all 26).

Go.

Because Blago did exactly what every single elected official does, he was just dumb and more forward/blatant about it.

He is still a convicted felon with all the impairments that come with it.

Furthermore, Blago still has to go through 2 years of supervised release, has to pay down the 20,000 in restitution and has to check in with his probation officer in two days.

Btw, I wouldn't be surprised if Trump told Blago there's a chance he could upgrade his commutation to a full pardon at the end of his Presidency right before he leaves office if he likes the progress Blago has made as a free man.

Figuratively, but the guy was way too emotionally invested in getting OMB tossed out of office.

Didn't appoint Valerie Jarrett to the senate as requested by the White House? Let's be clear, if the White House wasn't knighting for VJ to get the seat, the guy never even gets caught on the senate seat charges.

Thankfully, the president at that time requested an investigation for his own personal benefit.
