They've used the military several times before. They put regular army in the streets during the Rodney King thing, as well as during the 68 riots.

The Russian Civil War started some time after the Bolsheviks took power. I don’t remember the timeline, and I’ll happily accept corrections, but I think it took several months for the white armies to form. Most people had gone home, and avoided trouble, hoping for the best.
The Crimean Army consisted almost entirely officers at first. They were all aristocrats, and they were violently opposed to what was happening. Because of the circumstances, most took on enlisted roles. Someone had to be a private.

When they start forcing grade school kids to take the vaccine and it has some unexpected side effects on some, this may be a bunker hill that moms, dads, grandparents may climb on say enough is enough.
I pray that the young kids won’t be forced to take it and don’t have bad side effects if they do, but every group so far has had some kind of undesirable side effects. This could be a cause younger parents might unite on.

I foresee more of a mostly peaceful Balkanization where large, successful regions say “enough is enough” — things along the lines of TEXIT and so forth.
This is the way empires collapse from Greece to Rome to the USSR.

They are trying to break this country up through several different ways. Racial, Religious beliefs, income equality and just plain old Marxism. Once this country breaks wide open, it will open the door for China and Russia to bring down the whole continent of North America. Canada is 3/4 ways Marxist already with their laws. Mexico will be overrun by the Cartels until they are savagely beat down by the China/Russia alliance. All of these groups saying the USA is a shite hole will see what a real shite hole will be. Of course I think all those calling for the destruction of America as we know it will be the first ones exterminated because the new alliance won't tolerate no bull shite from their good citizens.

82nd and 101st Airborne were deployed to Detroit in 1967.

Even the brave souls of 1/6 (those who weren't Antifa agitators) were just blowing off steam. Maybe A few were trying to intimidate legislatures, but they certainly had no real violent intentions.

The Economist magazine once did a piece about the possibility of some kind of revolution in America and concluded that it would not happen as long as Postal Workers who have a spouse with a so-so job as well (say, as a secretary at the local elementary school) could live in a large house (compared to almost the entire rest of the world), have two relatively late-model cars, no problems with water pressure or getting hot water as needed, had little food insecurity, had enough many left over to take a medium expense vacation (say to a National Park) each year and entertainment options galore, tv, satelite radio, public parks with stuff like Little League for the kids.
As long as a huge majority of America lives like that, and they do, there will be no rising up of the great middle enough to drive them to killing USA soldiers and national guardsmen in the streets or engaging in guerilla warfare like poisoning the town water supply or blowing up the big local hospital.
Just not gonna happen.

God bless those patriots.

To be clear we are not talking about putting down ongoing rioters facing no opposition. We are talking about armed conflict, that will be over with before the military assemble

Your assessment about not acting out while comfortable is probably correct and the op said it himself.
But here’s where you went tard:
WTF?

Maybe they should have taken lessons from Antifa and BLM in burning down Federal Buildings with people in them and taking over/burning down Police Precincts?
That is what you and your ilk wanted isn't it?
Who are the insurrectionist?

Ilk?
It’s alright to not bust in to the capitol.
Not a crazy thought.
Crazy thought is busting into the capitol.
Eta: if you assume I’m for antifa or blm riots you’re incorrect.
None of any of that needed to happen.

They're trying to corner the market on homes. They are buying up all the property at 25-30% above asking price, sight unseen, no appraisal necessary... then they rent out that home at exorbitant prices. I don't even know how people afford to rent but hell, now they can't even afford to buy. They're trying to control us in all aspects.
