And he's pissed that no one believes the lying bull shite the intelligence community has been trying to pass off in terms of individual liberty
Basically. His two religions are being damaged

You say the vast majority is leaking from the west and not the east and use this as proof that the east is behind it.
Never a thought given that the west is more free and thus more hackable than the east.
Analysis :off:

But the USA is just too moral to do back to Russia what Russia has done to them?

Irrelevant
If I find out who all the rapists in my city are because all the murderers leaked the info, the source will not change my view of the rapists.
If potential rapists want to solve the problem, they have it entirely within their power.

Let's say you are right about that. He may just need to maintain a "safe harbor" for himself rather than having absolutely everyone on earth trying to kill him. It worked for Swowden.

Well then. Thats that.

So we in the west hear about and have as many leaks in our govt departments and military as Russia does? I missed the news.

quote:Why are you talking to me about this? What does it have to do with anything I'm alleging. If you want to go bitch at someone "on the left" who used to like Assange, go do that.
I'm just pointing out that the same people crying about Russia today were laughing through their teeth at the idea of Russia being a super threat just a few years ago. This 180 eerily coincides with a rash of political losses and near losses globally for their ideological bedfellows. I don't know what assange's motives are, but it's worth pointing out that no one thought he was Putin's puppet until it became politically convenient to do so. Assange was once the left's guilty pleasure.
quote:Such as? Let's hear your idea of a preposterous scenario, Vacherie.
You would have to accept some pretty preposterous scenarios (none of them make Obama look good, btw) to embrace the Russia narrative to the extent you've embraced it.

I also really don't give a rats frick if Russia is leaking because i don't live in Russia.
Here's a thought liberals.
Stop doing nasty shite.
Problem solved

I'd say it's fricked if you ignore or defend the murderers because you like what they bring to the table and the "left" wants to do something about all the murderers.

I'm not talking about the morality of state-sponsored cyber intrusions, espionage, sabotage, etc. I'm pointing out that wikileaks is a willing mass distributor of information detrimental to the interests of the U.S. and her allies, however they come by it, but apparently doesn't take the same position on Russia.
But the USA is just too moral to do back to Russia what Russia has done to them?

It has everything to do with it. It's the entire reason people don't fricking believe in your Russian boogeyman. How many times do you expect the people to see you trying to have it both ways before they start ignoring you?

You guys such hopeless dorks. The pro-Russia hard-on is nothing new around here, but the lengths you go to in ignoring the apparent is something to behold. Again, this is the position of the U.S. and the British governments, backed by their technical collections and anaylitical enterprises.
The position of the US government re: DNC hacks is entirely based on the analysis/investigation done by the DNC's own investigator, Crowdstrike. The US government never analyzed the server. And Crowdstrike's investigation was rife with errors. The so-called evidence that the DNC server was hacked by Putin's folks is tenuous at best.
But what do I know. I'm just a skeptical, hopeless dork.
