They did during Trump's first term and we still didn't engage in all-out war with them. I think the Deep State Pentagon warhawks were pissed that Trump didn't reflexively declare war on Iran. He doesn't like war. He's not opposed to using military force and targeted strikes etc. when necessary, but dude isn't trying to get us into long protracted boots on the ground forever wars like Cheney/Bush. That's not what he's about.
