Here is the problem, everyone knows the Russians aren't pulling for either the R's or D's. We had the opportunity to investigate what activities they did to try and influence the election on a bipartisan basis. Trying to influence an election has been going on for decades and not just from the Russians. We should try to protect our voting system, including using voter id.
However, that's not what happened. The democrats lost an election they expected to win and needed someone/something to blame. They used the Russian collusion narrative to sabotage Trump and advance their party goals. Democrats don't care about the integrity of elections, they only care about power. Why should we believe their new fund concern for voting integrity when they cheat in elections all the time?

The one he met with because he would love to get some dirt that will help Trump in the election. The same lawyer whose primary job is working to get Russian sanctions lifted. If you watch the testimony, everyone admits that's not something that will happen. However, there are loopholes, one of which, allows the president to remove individual Russians from the sanctions list without any oversight. The plea, and primary purpose of this witness, is that these holes be plugged to prevent them from being abused.
Some people seem to be caught up in how this ties to the election. That's not the point of this testimony. This is to bring awareness to what Putin and Russia are working toward and why and to show the lengths to which they will go to achieve their goals.
Again, I highly suggest you read the written transcript the witness provided. If nothing else, I promise you will be entertained.

Lol, everything that has come out so far makes Trump look worse than the democrats. His own son met with Russian operatives that are deeply entrenched in all of this.
I was simply saying at this point whether or not the Trumps knowingly did something to receive help with the election, we know the Russians were actively paticipating. Now that the Russians got what they wanted, we should be more concerned about what their next steps are.
If, like me, you were mad about Clinton breaking protocol and exposing her emails(to the Russians) you should be even madder at the complete incompetence(at the least) displayed by Trump and his closest associates in their direct meeting/communication with known Russian operatives.
