Gay rights is different than men dressed like women using female bathrooms or cutting off the dick of a 13 year old boy and pumping them full of hormones to forever alter their growth and development.
In 2012 the trans movement had not reached the level of insanity we see today. Trump would not make that same decision today. Had anyone known the level of insanity that movement would achieve many "supporters" would have chose differently.
