Not sure what that means? You've been playing since you were 4 and still don't know the rules? That's even worse.

Haha, a Spaniard would know about being a sissy that's for damn sure.

Dandy, just curious: Who on the board do you think actually knows the game, in your opinion?

He and Caplewood only....although he showed his lack of knowledge as Torres was clearly onside. He doesn't even understand that. He has a Spanish persona that says because he loves Spain and Barca, he knows all and we know nothing.

It doesn't really matter since most of us admit how little we know and do everything we can to learn more and more each day. The constant pharisaic, sanctimonious disposition of Dandy and Randy is rather suffocating to be honest.
And there are two posters on this board that are head and shoulders above the rest (I've said this numerous times): Crazy and wm.

I don't think he really thinks that we ALL are idiots. That's why I asked him personally.

You're right. I apologize. I was honestly ready to be done but couldn't let go a Spaniard/Spanish soccer fan calling someone else a sissy. It was too rich.

No, I'd say the majority of posters on this board are pharisaic, and without cause.
I believe wm is tremendously civil, as Italian football has been quite lackluster in terms of results, for many a year now. Crazy's illustriousness does not come to mind at the moment.
I understand said pharasites could construe me as sanctimonious, but in actuality I am an evangelistic and apologetic agent of the enlightenment. Granted, the enlightment is no end all, but a mere milestone in evolution.

I concur with his assessment of the situation.

Haha. What a pun. Never heard of it until now. That an original, Dandy?
EDIT: No, Google, I did not mean "parasites".

Yeah, I caught that. Just liked the pun, that's all.
Glad you answered me. I ask you for your personal opinion, and then three different guys just hop on and tell me what they think about you.
At least you admitted you find the Premier League somewhat entertaining.
I was pleasantly surprised...may not be the best football in your opinion, but that's ok. Heck, if we only watched what we considered "the best", college football wouldn't exist.

The EPL is very entertaining, I enjoy watching many matches. It is not the best league however.
Competitive, in terms of who may win the season title? Sometimes, lately more so.
The strongest EPL winner in God knows how many lusters, would still finish third, many times fourth (again, not of late), in La Liga.
Above all, and the crux of my argument, La Liga clubs who finish third, fourth and fifth place hold their own, and sometimes win, against the vaunted EPL champs in CL group and elimination stages (I won't go in to inferior competitions and the embarrassing domination of La Liga), with alarming regularity, for well over a decade.
La Liga was the world's best league from 1998 on, lost it to the EPL in 2004 or so (and rightfully so), for two or three years, and has recuperated said place as of 2009, yet for many, this fact has not penetrated their cranium.
ETA Am I fudging dates? Quite likely, but you get my point.

This is why I love watching leagues like MLS. Not just a two-team domination of the league. EPL is the same way...but they play head and shoulders above MLS in quality, don't quote me for something I didn't say, haters.

This, sadly, is true. Heck, United got bounced in Europa by such a team last year, then came seconds away from a English title.
The Spanish style is beautiful, no denying that. The final El Clasico was my favorite game from last season. (I am a CR7 nut, though.) And watching a lower-level La Liga match is easier one the eyes than watching Stoke.
Right now Barça and Real stand above any EPL club, and that's obvious. I don't care who won the CL last year. That's why you've got clubs like Chelsea and City making it rain.
I think the balance will shift back to the EPL in the future, but it will take years for it to happen. I'll still live and die by the Premier League and watch Real from time to time, rooting for more Spanish missteps (like the Olympics). But it's mainly jealousy that Spanish football is better right now for me, and I would think there are several EPL fans on the board who feel the same way.
