As much as I love Gotze, I really dont see him fitting into the squad very easily. He's still hurt and will miss the first month of training camp while Kroos is out there showing Pep what he can do. He'll have to play striker I think.

Yeah, he won't waltz right in unless Pep is just being headstrong. Kroos and Müller are going to be great options in the middle, with Tommy probably an option to play striker and wing too.

this reminds me of people who said Cesc would be sitting the bench a lot his first year in Barça. as was the case then, I think Götze will feature prominently.

No, he's definitely going to play. He's just gonna have a bit of trouble at first with such good players in his spot. I think he'll play a lot in the false 9 and we all know Pep loves midfielders so I'm sure he'll figure out a way to have Schweiny, Javi, Kroos, Müller, Ribery and Robben get solid playing time.

What are the rumors saying about Jozy? Is he pretty much gone from AZ? Do you think that he will leave AZ for Lazio? What other options does it look like he has?

I agree. It would be risky to move to a bigger club with it being a World Cup year. He is getting regular playing time with AZ. Jozy should just wait until after next season to make a move.
